The most interesting part of the M2B/01 is its distinctive timekeeping function – one of the elements that flow in the DNA of any SevenFriday. Compared to the M2/02, the time display system is reversed from the 3 o’clock position to the 9 o’clock position, along the crown is also reversed to the 9 o’clock position. The hour hand system retains the rotating dial mechanism, but the minute and second hands have been demonstrated by SevenFriday in a completely new way.

Instead of the rotary dial commonly found on M-Series models, SevenFriday introduces a special arrow running around the numbers. The outer minute ring, with colored markers and “uniform” numerals, shows minutes from 0 to 30, while the inner minute ring shows minutes from 30 to 60.
